The Syrian Aviation Corporation announced the resumption of flights between Damascus and Baghdad with a frequency of two flights a week (on Sundays and Thursdays), starting from February 2 next year.

Syrian Airways CEO Engineer Obeida Gabriel said in a SANA statement that “Baghdad is one of the important stations on the Syrian Airways operation map and is among the stations that have previously operated operations. continuously, and today, in the light of growing demand and economic and service feasibility, the movement of passengers will be served.” It must pass back and forth through Damascus International Airport.

Gabriel noted that “after a two-year hiatus, the resumption of operations is due to improved flight capacity and increased demand for travel between Syria and Iraq.
