The Yemeni cabinet said, “Relying on the possibility of the Houthi terrorist militias succumbing to peace is a deceptive bet, and the whole experience with this proves it.” He emphasized that the only way to a solution was to complete the restoration of the state and put an end to the coup.
It came at a meeting he held in the temporary capital of Aden on Monday, during which he spoke about a number of current developments locally and internationally in light of the ongoing escalation of the Houthi militia and options to deal with it. This is stated in the statement distributed at the meeting.
The Yemeni Cabinet discussed state and government options regarding the military escalation of Houthi fighters, especially on the Harib, Merkha and other fronts, as well as their ongoing criminal activities and repeated attacks on civilian objects, public roads and attacks on civilians, in including his attack was directed at the column of the governor of Taiz.
He emphasized that the escalation of terrorist crimes by the Houthi militias, in light of regional, international and international moves towards a political solution, will not pass without punishment or accountability, whatever the cost. He promised that “the government cannot accept that the Yemeni people remain hostage to the crimes and violations by these terrorist militias.”
Yemeni Prime Minister Main Abdulmalik spoke at a meeting about the plan of the Ministry of Defense to coordinate the work of directions and fronts in a single hall of joint operations along the liberated territories, in addition to logistical needs to maintain combat readiness, in accordance with the directives of the Presidential Command Council.
