The White Lands Program in Saudi Arabia has issued more than 4,600 invoices for the first round of the second round of land collections in Mecca Al Mukarrama, Jeddah and Dammam.
The program indicates that invoices were issued for about 3,500 land plots located within the announced city limits of the second phase, which indicates that the invoices for the first round of land payments in the above-mentioned cities were issued on December 29, 2022.
Today, Wednesday, the program said the total number of bills for white land fees issued since the launch of the program has exceeded 16,000 bills in cities that have implemented the system, urging owners to initiate development of their land or pay within a year. from the date of the ruling, the Saudi Press Agency “SPA” quotes.
The program also noted that Article 15 of the Executive Regulation on payments for white lands provides that the collected amounts are directed to the development of infrastructure projects in accordance with the following text: “The Ministry determines aspects of spending from a special account the amounts of fees and fines levied on housing and the provision of public services to them” and the provision of public services.
It is noteworthy that the program has been amended to provide for the possibility of applying more than one queue in one city, in addition, the Ministry conducts a periodic review of the situation in any city to decide on the application of land fees in it, or suspends the application or apply one or several stages to bypass a certain stage and go to the next stage in the same city, In addition to the issuance of the Supreme Order in August 2020, according to which white land tax bills are considered contracts, concessions and criminal documents under the state revenue system.
